Prishtina and Trepca will meet in the finals of ETC Women’s League Play-Offs. Prishtina was better than its rival Bashkimi, in the semi-finals, whereas Trepca won in both games against Penza from Peja.
In the semi-final game between Prishtina and Bashkimi, Prishtina won 80:57, whilst the return game, which took place in Prizren, was terminated in the third quarter, due to a fight between the players. Competition Commissioner of the KBF decided that the victory with the result 20:0 goes to Prishtina. A fine has been imposed upon every person involved in the incident, by the Commissioner.
Meanwhile, in the other semi-final game, between Trepca and Penza, the rivalry has been at the highest level possible in the first game and that is best shown by the final score 58:56, however in the return game, which took place in Peja, the guests won easier than expected (49:32).
The first final game, between Prishtina and Trepca will take place next mid-week, in Prishtina whereas the return game will take place in Vushtrri. The team with two victories will be announced Champion of Kosovo.
Prishtina is the reigning champion of Kosovo and the winner of IPKO Cup of Kosovo for the season 2014/15.
