Prishtina is the winner of IPKO Cup in Women’s Competition, after defeating Golden Eagle Ylli in Suhareka, with the result 73:56.
In the beginning, Golden Eagle Ylli was leading 13:2, however, afterwards it was blocked in defense and Prishtina scored 27 points whereas Golden Eagle Ylli scored only 4 and Prishtina managed to create a 12 point lead. This lead was continuous until the third minute of the final quarter when Golden Eagle Ylli managed to cut the deficit to 53:60 and 55:62.
Two of Prishtina’s scores gave this team 5 new points and in the final minutes of the game, Prishtina kept the lead and won IPKO Cup after a very long time. The Cup was handed to the winning team by Aferdita Fazliu, Deputy Director of Sports Department.
