The third final game of the Kosovo Superleague playoffs, between Peja and Sigal Prishtina, will take place on Sunday, at 19:30h, at the “Karagaci” hall. The series result is 1:1 and the pressure is on both teams.
Peja wants to win before their own fans, because this way they will have the advantage of the home terrain in the eventual fifth game.
On the other hand, Prishtina will do their best to win in Peja, so they’ll be even more motivated to win the title in the capital city.
Drilon Hajrizi, basketball player from BC Peja: “The second game in Prishtina was just a bad night for us, because that’s not Peja. Peja that everyone knows will triumph on Sunday. Sigal Prishtina is a very good team and we are aware of that, but I believe that in this phase of the season we are way better than our opponent and that’s why I believe that we’ll triumph in Peja and afterwards win the Champion title. We are not stressed at all because we have a very experienced team and we’ll play our game and win in “Karagaci” hall.”
Andrew Warren, basketball player from BC Sigal Prishtina: “We have a very good team and we already proved that. However, the opponent is also very strong, especially before their own fans. It will be a very difficult game but we will try to win.”
Peja won the first final game, whereas Sigal Prishtina won the second one and the result is now 1:1. The teams with three victories will be announced the champion of Kosovo, whereas the reigning champion of Kosovo is Sigal Prishtina.
