Youth Summer Camp "Prishtina 2014" has entered its third day, where 9 coaches and 53 children, led by FIBA instructor and well-known Slovenian coach, Dejan Mihevc, are working with high intensity.
Kids are divided by age into mixed groups (boys and girls), and local coaches are working with each group under the supervision of the instructor Mihevc. Besides the exercises, on Tuesday and Thursday the organizers of the camp will also hold a basketball tournament.
Meanwhile during the camp, the organizers in collaboration with the instructor have foreseen the development of various challenging basketball games, making this activity more attractive and interesting for children, which is also one of the main goals of the camp.
During the camp, an education for 'Fair Play' is going to be organized, which will be lectured by the educators of the Independent Organization of Sport Education in Kosovo (OESK), where various of games will be held in the free time.
It should be emphasized that the organization of the camp is powered by the Ministry of Culture, Youth and Sports (MCYS), and it is supported by the Independent Organization of Sport Education in Kosovo (OESK), as well as by the water company "Bonita" and sports company "Sporting”.
The camp began on July 12th and it will end on July 19th. The camp is being held in the Student Center in Prishtina, while drills are being performed in the premises of this Center, "1 Tetori" Hall and also at the sports hall of the Faculty of Sport Sciences.
