Except for the Women’s League, the regular season has also ended in the Men’s League and the playoffs will begin this weekend for these four teams: Rahoveci, Drita, Kosova and AS Kastrioti.
Rahoveci is the only team that hasn’t lost any game in the regular season and has a record of 20 wins. This team will play against AS Kastrioti in the playoffs. Drita has a record of 17 wins and 3 losses, holds the second place and has to play against Kosova who has a record of 14 wins and 6 losses and is in the third place. The teams with 2 wins will go through to the finals.
Winners of semifinals will meet in the playoff finals. The higher ranked team will have the advantage of the home game in the first and third eventual game. The champion of First Men’s League will earn the right to compete in the Superleague in the 2016/17 season.
Playoff finalist will play with the second to last team of the Superleague in the play-out, in this case with the team ranked in the seventh place of the regular season of the Superleague and the team with two wins in the winner.
In 2016/2017 season, Men’s First League will be composed of 8 highest ranked teams and the Board of KBF will decide for the other teams.
