On Saturday, at 20:00h, at the “Minatori” hall, in Mitrovica, the National Team of Kosovo will play against Bulgaria in the sixth (last) game of the Eurobasket 2017 Qualifiers.
This will be the last game of the European Championship Qualifiers for our team, but also the last chance to mark the first historical victory.
The tickets for the game Kosovo – Bulgaria will cost 3 euros.
The star of the National Team of Kosovo and BC Barcelona, Justin Doellman will not play in this game.

“On Thursday, Doellman was officially released from his obligations towards the National Team of Kosovo. He returned to his obligations in his club Barcelona and he is preparing for the games of the Supercup of Spain, to take place next weekend. Considering that these games are highly important to his club, and considering the fact that he will be working with a new coach this season, KBF and the technical staff of the National Team of Kosovo decided to approve the request of Barcelona to release Justin and give him the opportunity to prepare for the upcoming season. The experience with Doellman has been invaluable, because Doellman is not only one of the best players and the highest paid in Europe, but also has a great personality. The entire National Team of Kosovo and the management have benefited from Doellman’s commitment and his professional approach to basketball.”
In the game against Bulgaria, the other naturalized American, Scott Bamforth will be playing.
On the other hand, Bulgaria will play without its star, Aleksandar Vezenkov, who just like Doellman plays for Barcelona and joined him to prepare for the Super Cup of Spain. The National Team of Bulgaria will play also without Bost Demarquis, but instead Jason Washburn will be joining them this game, a name already known this for Kosovo basketball, as he played for Sigal Prishtina last season, with which team he won the Cup of Kosovo and the Balkan League.
