The fever of the Kosovo basketball elite will return on Saturday, after a three week break. The spring season was set to begin last weekend, but due to a very cold weather, and with the request of the clubs, it was postponed for a week.
In the beginning of the spring season, basketball fans will have the chance to enjoy Saturday’s derby, where Bashkimi will host Sigal Prishtina, at the “Sezai Surroi” hall, in Prizren, at 19:00h.
These two teams have already met four times, twice in the autumn season of the Kosovo Superleague and twice in the Balkan League (BIBL). Their current record is 1:1 in the Kosovo Superleague and 1:1 in BIBL.
For this exact reason, a very interesting game is expected to take place on Saturday, even though both teams started this phase of the season with big changes in their rosters. However, basketball fans will have the chance to watch a good game with great rivalry.
Meanwhile on Saturday two other games will take place. Trpeca will host Vllaznimi in Mitrovica and Rahoveci will host Kerasan Prishtina.
On Sunday’s program is only one game, where Golden Eagle Ylli will host Peja.
