Sigal Prishtina is the second finalist of the Balkan League. Kosovo reigning champion lost 80:86 the second game away at Kozuv but the advantage of 24 points from the first game was more than enough for them to qualify.
Sigal Prishtina was leading in the first quarter of the game 26:25 and had a chance to win. However, the visitors managed to controll the margin and responded to each run by Kozuv, especially in the first half, and even though they were defeated in Gevgelija, they still qualified for the finals.
In the finals, Sigal Prishtina will play against Rilski. The first game will take place in Prishtina, on April 21st, whereas the second one will take place eight days later, in Samokov.
This is the first time ever for any team from Kosovo to get qualified in the finals of an international league. Last year, Sigal Prishtina played in the Final Four of the Balkan League, but was eliminated in the semifinals.
