Sigal Prishtina and Kosova e Re Bashkimi won the strongest games of the 12th round of ETC Super League and strengthened their position on the board.
Sigal Prishtina in a duel with its old rival Trepca, won with a result 92:79.
The first half of the game ended with a tight result 44:46.
However, in the third quarter Sigal Prishtina for five minutes had a series of 17:2 and 15 minutes before the end the winner of the game was already known, whereas in the final quarter neither team did anything extraordinary giving the game a quiet ending and leaving hundreds of Torcida fans disappointed who have travelled to Drenas, where Trepca continues to play as the home team.
At the other game which took place on Sunday, Golden Eagle Ylli defeated Besa. Besa appeared at the game with only 8 players, all of them national players and stood no chance against the home team who started with a result 16:4 and never looked back.
Najee White was the best player of Golden Eagle Ylli with 23 points, whereas Kushtrim Zeqiri with 10 points was Besa’s best player.
Kosova e Re Bashkimi with a victory before very few fans in Prizeren, made it impossible for Vellaznimi to enter into a series of good results and reduced significantly the hopes of the team from Gjakova for a placement in the Play-Off. At the same time this team strengthened its position on the board.
Kosova e Re Bashkimi won 81:71 at a game where Vellaznimi was leading for almost 30 minutes but great precision in shooting for three points in the final minutes and some of Vellaznimi’s mistakes, made it possible for the team from Prizeren to win the game.
Kastrioti continues to be the last team on the board with 1 win and 11 losses so far. This team was defeated by Peja 77:113.
The runner up of Kosovo Championship, who together with Sigal Prishtina will continue playing in the Balkan League in the mid week, had a convincing victory, mainly due to the complete dominance in the second half of the game.
