Sigal Prishtina defeated Trepca 74:59 (16:21, 21:7, 14:17, 23:14) in the game that took place tonight in “Minatori” hall, in Mitrovica. The game belonged to round 5 of the Kosovo Superleague.
The second quarter was when Sigal Prishtina excelled by not allowing Mitrovica to score more than 7 points, while they scored 21 points. In the other three quarters the fight on the floor was equal, but the lead that Prishtina created in the second quarter was enough for them to get the second victory this season.
Sigal Prishtina’s top scorers were MJ Rhett with 11 points, Jabarie Hinds with 12 and Andrew Lawrence and Drilon Hajrizi scored 10 points each.
For Trepca, Besnik Azemi scored 15 points and Frederic Stutz added 11.
In the next round, Sigal Prishtina will host Golden Eagle Ylli, whereas Trepca is Bashkimi’s guest.
