Sigal Prishtina triumphed in Round 8 derby of the Kosovo Superleague, after defeating Bashkimi on Sunday night, in Prishtina. The game ended 100:84 (25:20, 25:25, 20:24, 30:15).
As expected the game was even from the beginning, but the hosts excelled in the fourth quarter and won the game by 16 points.
This way, Prishtina managed to revenge for their loss to Bashkimi in the beginning of the season, while for Bashkmi this is their first loss this season after eight rounds played.
Sigal Prishtina’s top scorers were Bojan Trajkovski with 31 points, Malcolm Rhett with 18 and Drilon Hajrizi with 12. For Bashkimi, Kejuan Johnson scored 28 points, Ermin Jazvin added 14 and Marko Popovic 13.
