After BC Peja has left the court and refused to continue the third final game of the ETC Super League play-offs, Competition Commissioner, based on the Competition Propositions, has registered the third game of the ETC Super League play-offs with the official result 20:0 and disqualified Peja from the play-offs.
Sigal Prishtina was named champion of Kosovo for the season 2014/15.
In Competition Commissioner’s decision amongst other things, was stated:
After Peja left the court in the middle of the third final game of the play-offs and the third and fourth game ware registered with an official result, BC Sigal Prishtina is announced champion of ETC Super League for the season 2014/15.
Upon the completion of all arguments (statements) regarding the abandonment of the court by BC Peja and considering the severe damage caused to the image of Kosovo basketball by the unreasonable abandonment of the game by a finalist team, under Article 1.6 of the CP, I propose to the Disciplinary Commission of KBF in accordance with normative acts of KBF, to impose the following penalties for the violation of the Competition Propositions:
BC Peja to be fined with 3,000.00 Euros
BC Peja to be disqualified and degraded to a lower level of competition
To initiate disciplinary proceedings against the official representative of BC Peja, Mr. Gazmend Pupovci.
