Bashkimi and Sigal Prishtina will play their next games in Group A of Balkan League on Tuesday.
Bashkimi will travel to Macedonia to play against Kumanovo at 17:00h. Sigal Prishtina will host Teodo from Tivat, Montenegro, at the Youth and Sports Center, in Prishtina, at 19:00h.
Kumanovo is the leader of the group, with a record of 5 wins and 1 loss. Sigal Prishtina is the only team that defeated Kumanovo.
Until the end of the regular season of the Balkan League, Bashkimi will have to play 4 games. The team from Prizren has to win every game in order to qualify further in BIBL. However, they also have a chance to qualify if they win 2 home games, but then not everything depends on them.
On the other hand, Sigal Prishtina has a record of 2 losses and 1 win, whereas Teodo has a record of 3 victories and 2 losses.
Jeronimo Sarin, Head Coach of Sigal Prishtina:
“It is going to be a very difficult game against Teodo, but we will enter the gym to win. We have only 8 players who are in good health condition, with Andrew Lawrence who just began practicing with the team today, so we’ll have to improvise until the new reinforcements arrive. We do not have time to complain, so we want to win and go through to the next phase of BIBL”.
Drilon Hajrizi, basketball player of Sigal Prishtina:
“We are in a good rhythm and I have no doubt that with the help of our fans we will continue the series of victories in the Balkan League. The game against Teodo won’t be easy, but we will do our best to win.”
It should be noted that Peja and Trepca will play their next games in the Balkan League on Wednesday. Peja will host Sutjeska and Trepca is Karpos Sokoli’s guest.
