Sigal Prishtina will host Beroe from Stara Zagora, Bulgaria, on Tuesday at 19:00h at the Youth and Sports Center, in Prishtina.
This game belongs to round 6 of Group A of the Balkan League (BIBL), but was postponed due to Sigal Prishtina’s commitments in FIBA Europe Cup.
In their first duel in the beginning of this season of the Balkan League, Beroe won 86:71.
Beroe holds the fourth place in Group A with 4 wins and 3 losses and is still competing for a place in the second phase of the Balkan League, same as the reigning champion of the Balkan League, who despite their not so good record (2 wins and 4 losses) still has a chance to go through to the next phase.
It should be noted that in 2017 Sigal Prishtina made some changes in their players’ roster, and until they hire a new head coach the games will be led by assistant coaches Arben Nixha and Andin Rashica. With these changes the team from the capital city is expected to start this year in the best possible way.
Meanwhile, on Wednesday at the “Minatori” hall in Mitrovica, at 19:00h, will take place the Kosovo derby in BIBL, between Trepca and Peja.
