There are four games left to be played in group C of SIGAL-UNIQA Balkan League and they are extremely important. All four teams still have a chance to qualify and are fighting for the top two places which will guarantee a spot in the semifinals.
This week we have the games Beroe - Teodo andBashkimi - Mornar. Beroe will look to win by at least 11 points which will give the team the tiebreaker advantage against Teodo. A victory with less points will make life for the team from Stara Zagora very hard and the chance to qualify minimal. Elsewhere if Teodo wins the team will guarantee its place in the top 4 of the league. However if they are to lose they would hope it would be with maximum 9 points and then they will have to hope either for a win against Mornar or a Beroe win against Bashkimi in the last week.
Bashkimi′s win over Teodo last week kept alive the team′s chances of qualifying. Now they need to win both home games until the end - against Mornar and Beroe. To have the tiebreaker advantage against Mornar they have to defeat them by 16 points which is a very tough task. The best option for them is to win both games, Beroe to defeat Teodo and then Mornar to do the same against Teodo in the last round.
By now all four teams have the chance to qualify. After the games on Tuesday the situation will be much clearer and we would know more about all squad′s chances.
