KBF’s President, Erolld Belegu, today visited the Basketball Federation of Slovenia, where he was hosted by the Secretary General of the Federation and also a Board Member of FIBA Europe, Mr. Iztok Rems.
Mr. Belegu was further notified with Slovenian Federation’s activities and the financial results of the last European Championship.
Also, this meeting focused on the experiences of the two Federations in developing youth basketball.
Another topic of discussion was the possible acceptance of KBF in the world organization of basketball, FIBA.
Finally, at the request of KBF, the Slovenian Federation assured concrete assistance to Kosovar Basketball by thinking of sending experts to increase the quality of coaches and referees.
This was the second meeting within a few days that Mr. Belegu and Secretary General Jeton Nixha attended. The first one being with the Macedonian Federation with the president Daniel Dimevski and the Secretary General Dejan Lekic.
