Two teams, Sigal Prishtina and Peja, who together with Bashkimi and Trepca are expected to create the “big four” in the Kosovo Superleague, will play their first games of the 2016/17 season, on Sunday at 18:00h.
Sigal Prishtina will travel to Prizren to play against Bashkimi, in “Sezai Surroi”, where a great rivalry is expected to take place. Both teams will try to begin this season with a victory. There were a lot of changes made in both teams rosters but what is worth mentioning is the biggest change that took place in the technical staff, Petar Mijoviq who last season was the coach of Bashkmi, now is the coach of Sigal Prishtina and this Sunday will play against Bashkmi and will do his best to defeat them.
Menwhile, Peja will travel to Theranda to play against Golden Eagle Ylli and is expected to return with a victory. However, the team from Theranda is not to be underestimated, especially when they play before their own fans.
Two other games of the Kosovo Superleague already took place. Trepca defeated Vllaznimi and Rahoveci defeated Kerasan Prishtina.
