Bashkimi will host Sigal Prishtina on Monday night at 19:00h, in “Sezai Surroi” hall, in Group A of Sigal Uniqa Balkan League (BIBL).
This is the remaining game of Round 4 of Group A, in BIBL, which was postponed due to Sigal Prishtina’s commitments in FIBA Europe Cup. Sigal Prishtina played only one game in the Balkan League, against Beroe, where they were defeated 86:71. In the upcoming days, Sigal Prishtina will play all of the remaining games in the Balkan League.
On the other hand, Bashkimi won only one game out of 5 games played, and they have to fight hard in the next games in order to secure a place in the second phase of the Balkan League.
Sigal Prishtina is the reigning champion of the Balkan League and after not being able to secure a place in the second phase of FIBA Europe Cup, Prishtina is focusing on defending their trophies which they won last season in the Kosovo Superleague, Kosovo Cup and Balkan League.
On Saturday, Sigal Prishtina defeated their long time rival, Peja in Round 9 of Kosovo Superleague, and a week ago they also defeated Bashkimi. Both teams defeated Sigal Prishtina in the beginning of the season and now they finally got their revenge.
