Today, Kosovo National Team U16 was invited to visit TEB Bank. The reason of this invitation was to congratulate the basketball players on their achievements from the European Championship, Division C, which took place in San Marino, from 6 until 11 July, where Kosovo was announced runner up of this Division.
The CEO of TEB Bank, Ayhan Albeyoglu, has congratulated the boys on their achievement and asked them to work hard so that the next year they become champions: “You have made us very proud with the success that you achieved in San Marino. Your hard work was rewarded. Kosovo as a new country should be very proud with how you represented it in the European Championship. With these leaders of KBF, the basketball of Kosovo will go very far. I congratulate you and also hope that next year you will become champions. We are very happy with our cooperation with the federation and I believe that together we will manage to accomplish all of the KBF’s goals.
The captain of Kosovo U16, Dian Pllana, spoke about his experiences from San Marino: “We played very good from the beginning of the championship. We should’ve won the finals, but our opponent had more experience in the international arena and took advantage of our mistakes and won the championship. However, the whole participation in the European Championship was a great experience for us and now we are more mature and more prepared for next challenges”.
Board member of the KBF, Valton Bilalli has thanked TEB Bank for the continuous support that is giving for the basketball in general. Bilalli, in behalf of the KBF, gave a jersey of the NT of Kosovo to Mr. Albeyogl as a thank you gift. “The jersey is a modest sign for your contribution for the development of basketball, being always beside youth categories, which are the biggest priority of KBF. We promise to work even harder in order for us to become champions next year.”
At the end, TEB has planned a surprise for young basketball players and rewarded them with 600 euros in total.
TEB Bank has sponsored both NT’s of Kosovo, in the European Championship.
