The Basketball Embassy, an American organization which is Kosovo Basketball Federation’s partner in the project for the High Performance Center, was officially presented at a press conference, at the premises of KBF.

The officials of the organization, Tim Drolet and Chris Dial are very enthusiastic with the fact that they are going to start the work in Kosovo and help with the functioning of the National Team of Youth Categories and with the compilation of a national plan for Youth Categories.

“I was here on December and we made a selection of the kids of a certain age group. Now I am very happy to begin the work to turn this generation into a serious competitive NT and we will work in a single platform for the development of new generations on a Kosovo level”, stated the American coach, Chris Dial.

Dial is a Camp Coordinator for the National Team of the Turkish Basketball Federation and deals with similar activities in Romania and Ireland as well.

Dial will be leading the coaching team of The Basketball Embassy and will hold the position of the National Coordinator for Youth Categories.

Secretary General of The Kosovo Basketball Federation, Leart Hoxha said that the functioning of the National Team of Youth Categories is a priority considering that during the summer we are expecting to compete in the European Championships with two age groups and Basketball Embassy project will be implemented starting from this weekend.

The project of the High Performance Center with the Basketball Embassy is the greatest and the most serious project of the Kosovo Basketball Federation.
