American coach, Tim Maloney will join Kosovo “A” NT on July, when practices for the European Championship Qualifiers begin. Kosovo will compete in Group E with Slovenia, Ukraine and Bulgaria.
Maloney will help our National Team, in the capacity of an advisor, by analyzing the opponent. Maloney will be part of our NT for a month.
He was contacted through the selector of A NT of Kosovo, Arben Krasniqi, who presented his work program to Mr. Maloney and the coach was happy to be part of a new and inexperienced NT in high level competitions, such as Eurobasket 2017 Qualifiers.
Tim Maloney is director of basketball operations at the Baylor University of Waco, Texas.Maloney, who is in his 31st year in college basketball, has 10 NCAA Tournament appearances and four NIT appearances in 17 years of Division I experience to his credit.
