With four games left in group D of SIGAL-UNIQA Balkan League it′s clear that the champions KB Sigal Prishtina are already through to the semifinals. This week they will visit BC Levski 2014 in Sofia and a win will guarantee them the first place. This is what they′ll try to do in order to be more relaxed when they visit Peja next week.

For Levski this is the last chance its hopes of reaching the semifinals alive. The Blues need to win against Sigal and then against Kozuv at home and in the same time hope that Peja will defeat Kozuv on Wednesday and then lose to Sigal next week. This is the only real possibility for Levski due to the fact that they lost by 27 points against Kozuv and if the team from Gevgelija wins against Peja it would be a very hard task for Levski to seek such a difference.

The match between Kozuv and Peja on Wednesday is even more important. A win for Peja and a loss by Levski will mean that Peja will have a guaranteed spot in the semifinals and the last games in the group will count for nothing. However a win for Kozuv with 2 or more points will give the team the tiebreaker advantage over Peja and then they would just have to defeat Levski in the last round in order to reach the Top 4. A defeat for Kozuv means that the team is out of the competition. A win for Peja and win for Levski will make things very interesting as then Peja will even have to chance to finish first with at least 2-point victory against Sigal.

Those are the options in the group as of now which undoubtedly guarantees us some interesting minutes. After the games are over we are going to know whether the standings is all set or we′ll have to keep our eyes open for the last week as well.
