Today, FIBA Europe sent an official letter confirming its support for the Kosovo Basketball Federation, contributing 24,950 euros for youth categories.
The application for Youth Development Fund submitted by the Kosovo Basketball Federation was evaluated as successful by FIBA Europe.
In the letter, signed by the FIBA Executive Director Europe, Mr. Kamil Novak was stated: “We sincerely hope that the “Development of U14 and U12 competitions” project will be a huge success and will contribute to the development of youth basketball in your country.”
“Youth Development Fund "of FIBA Europe is a development fund for young generations, where all member federations of FIBA Europe can apply annually.
KBF’s project that has received the support of FIBA Europe aims to increase the number of games played for U14, the number of tournaments for U12 and to organize selection camps for U14.
KBF also plans to invite FIBA Europe instructors to these camps.
The project will last 9 months, from 2015 until June 2016.
