Vllaznimi won the opening game of Round 12 of the Kosovo Superleague.
On Friday night, in “Shani Nushi” hall in Gjakova, the hosts defeated Kerasan Prishtina 101:97 (32:23, 30:22, 22:25, 17:27).
Since the beginning of the game until the end the game was equal and this is best shown by the final result 101:97, in Vllaznimi’s favor. This season, both teams have only local but very talented players in their roster, and most of them are part of Kosovo National Team’s for youth categories.
Top scorers from Vllaznimi were Beq Kovaqi with 32 points, Arian Qallaku with 25 and Blendi Matoshi with 23 points. For Kerasan Prishtina, Kujtim Sadiku scored 26 points, Genti Shala added 23 and Rinor Ahmeti 16.
It should be noted that three other games of Round 12 will take place this weekend. On Saturday, Trepca will host Bashkimi in “Minatori” hall, at 19:00h, Peja will host Rahoveci at 17:00h, in “Karagaci” hall and on Sunday Golden Eagle Ylli will host Sigal Prishtina in “13 Qershori” hall, at 19:00h.
