Games of round XVI of the ETC Super League will take place today and tomorrow and will let us know the leader of the board and have a greater clarity of other positions.
This week’s derby is undoubtedly the game between Sigal Prishtina and Peja. Both teams this season have 14 wins out of 15 games and have defeated each other in games played as the home team.
This time, Sigal Prishtina will play as the home team, but looking at the form of these teams this fact does not mean much.
Sigal Prishtina is in the series of losses in the Balkan League and has ended this phase of the competition in the fourth place of Group B and after a dominating show against Vellaznimit in the ETC Super League the game with Peja is the biggest test for the team and coach Ilevski in order to see if the crisis has passed.
Peja is expected to end up in the third or second place in Group A of Balkan League, however, this team was also defeated by Rilski in its previous game before its own fans.
This means that two Kosovo teams will be part of the same group in the second phase of the Balkan League.
Peja has signed the American player, Jaleel Nelson, known to Kosovo public, although his transfer documentation has not yet been completed and its presentation in the game is not certain.

Golden Eagle Ylli and Kastrioti will also play tonight, in Suhareka. This season, Kastrioti has only one win out of 15 games, precisely against Golden Eagle Ylli, whereas, Kastrioti’s coach, Jeton Nixha, has defeated the team from Suhareke when he was the coach of Vellaznimi. However, this weekend the home team defeated Kosova e Re Bashkimi and is highly motivated to win two games in a row and seek a position that will take them to the playoffs.

Two other games of round XVI will take place this Thursday. Kosova e Re Bashkimi after losing in Suhareka has a great chance to go back to winning since it’s considered to be the favorite team in the game against Besa.
Edin Kerveshi will be leading Kosova e Re Bashkimi after coach Miodrag Baletic was let go.
Besa was defeated by Peja in round XV, but it is expected that this team, which has made few changes in players composition will play better tomorrow and surprise us in Prizren.

The game between Trepca and Vellaznimi will also take place this Thursday. Trepca continues to play in Drenas and will continue the second part of the season without international players, due to financial difficulties.
It can be safely said that these two teams and Golden Eagle Ylli are going after the fourth position on the board and tomorrow in the direct duel have the opportunity to show their quality and likely to be placed in the Play-Offs.
