Kosovo made a lot of efforts to join FIBA, however, FIBA gave the green light in March 2015. The road was long but Kosovo achieved its goal of becoming the 215th FIBA member. Also, in May 2015 at the Assembly held in Malta, attended by the President Erolld Belegu and Board member Arben Fetahu, Kosovo became the 52nd member of FIBA Europe.
