The Basketball Federation of Kosovo (KBF) recently received news from FIBA that the latter has decided to donate to KBF sports equipment for the 3x3 game including 3x3 playground and 3x3 scoreboard.
Secretary General of KBF, Elvira Dushku told for the official website that this is good news in these difficult days that we are all experiencing with the spread of the COVID - 19 pandemics in Kosovo.
“We have recently been officially informed by FIBA that the latter has decided to donate a 3x3 ground, 3x3 scoreboard, and 3x3 balls. This assistance comes as a result of the meeting that the President of KBF Arben Fetahu and I had with FIBA Secretary General Andreas Zagklis and Director of Development Zoran Radovic at the end of November last year in Geneva. At this meeting, the President of KBF asked Mr. Zagklis for help in building the concept of 3x3 basketball in Kosovo.
At the meeting in Geneva, we also agreed to work together on the development of Mini-Basketball in Kosovo, building a program for coaches, and raising the quality of women’s basketball and governance in Kosovar clubs, as well as on the KBF 2021-2024 strategy.”
