Pursuant to Article 21, line 1 of the Statute of the Basketball Federation of Kosovo, the Board of BFK announces:
COMPETITION
for the organization of the Kosovo Final 8 Cup in basketball, for the 2017/18 edition, this runs from February 28th to March 4th, 2018.
The rights to take part in this competition have everyone who meet the conditions of this competition and the provisions foreseen in the Kosovo Cup Final 8 Organization Guidelines.
To compete for organizing Kosovos Final 8 Cup, the candidates have to fulfill these conditions:
a) To not have any obligations to BFK;
b) Provide conditions for the development of games according to the rules of the FIBA Game and BFK’s Competitions Regulations;
c) To provide medals, cups and trophies for the winners and finalists of the Cup in both competitions, whose design will be selected by BFK;
d) Cover the expenses for the Official for all games of the Kosovo Cup Final 8;
e) Provide direct broadcast of Kosovo Final 8 Cup matches to a national television or cable platform, and to prepare 2 (two) DVDs for every game;
f) To strictly comply with the provisions of the Kosovo Final 8 Cup Organizing Guidelines for marketing in the hall and in television broadcasts;
g) Provide sufficient number of tickets for fans of all participating teams on the tournament;
h) Ensure adequate presence of police forces and private security members in all final tournament matches;
i) To be in coordination with the guidelines of Kosovo’s Final 8 tournament organization;
j) To pay a financial sum in BFK’s bank account for the development of young categories;
k) To secure a conference room for BFK’s Annual meating.
The winner of the competition will sign a contract with BFK, specifying the details of the organization as well as the obligations and rights of the parties.
In case of meeting all criteria by two or more applicants, the financial criterion is prevalent.
