The Basketball Federation of Kosovo is continuing with the preparations for the FIBA U16 Championship, Division C according to the plan foreseen in coordination with FIBA Europe.
FIBA U16 European Championship, Division C is scheduled from 11 to 19 July 2020 in Pristina.
The Secretary General of KBF, Elvira Dushku, who is also the Head of the Local Organizing Committee of the European Championship for the official website of KBF has announced the details about the preparations for this very important event, not only for basketball but also for the Kosovar sport in general.

“Despite the situation created with COVID-19, the staff of the KBF executive office has continued their work from home and with high intensity these weeks we have been working on preparations for the FIBA U16 European Championship, always in coordination with FIBA.
The Action Plan, Financial Plan and Marketing Plan for FIBA U16 European Championships have already been prepared, which materials along with the Championship game and practice schedule have been approved by FIBA.
We have formed the FIBA U16 European Championships Local Organizing Committee, a group that together with the volunteers will take care of the event.
The first FIBA Bulletin of the FIBA U16 European Championship is expected to be approved by FIBA in the coming days.
FIBA has so far been very pleased with KBF's dedication to preparing for this summer's event and has congratulated us on the will and motivation proven in these difficult days for all.
We are hoping that we will be back to normal soon and we will continue to work on implementing all the plans prepared for the FIBA U16 European Championship. "
