Kosovo Basketball Federation (KBF) and Kosovo Association of Basketball Coaches (KABC) shall organize the International Coaches Clinic, which is the pioneer of the Education and Licensing Program of Coaches. The Clinic will take place on May 27 and 28, at the “ISP” College, at Marigona Residence, in Prishtina. Prominent Slovenian coach Mehmed Becirovic will facilitate the Clinic, who in 2010 was the selector of the Slovenia’s National Team at the World Championship, which was held in Istanbul and Sani Becirovic, former basketball player of Slovenia, currently working as a coach. Sani was also member of the Slovenian National Team whilst, he played for popular basketball teams of Europe such as: Union Olimpija, CSKA Moska, Benetton Treviso, etc.
Apart from the two Slovenian coaches, the Clinic will be facilitated by Arben Krasniqi, too, who obtains the title of the most successful postwar coach in Kosovo and former selector of Kosovo’s National Team, while part of the Clinic will be the coaches of FIBA Europe Young Generations’ Development Program (boys born in 2002 and younger), Besnik Podvorica and Korab Maloku. Podvorica and Maloku will present before the attendees the statistics and parts of matches of the international tournament that was held a week ago in Bucharest of Rumania, where Kosovo lost three matches from Bulgaria, Macedonia and Rumania.
The Clinic shall commence on 27th of May (Saturday), from 09:00 hrs until 18:30 hrs, while on 28th of May (Sunday), the Clinic shall commence from 08:30 hrs until 13:30 hrs.
