The Basketball Federation of Kosovo (BFK) publicly thanks the consular service at the Hungarian Embassy in Pristina for the unreserved assistance on providing visas to various delegations of Kosovo representatives for participation in international competitions and conferences organized by FIBA.
The Basketball Federation of Kosovo (BFK) in particular thanks the consulate of the Embassy of Hungary in Pristina for the urgent assistance to provide the American basketball player Scott Bamforth with a visa on Saturday (25.11.2017), when the delegation of the Kosovo Representative was supposed to go to Hungary to play the second match within the First World Cup qualifier "China 2019".
Kosovo faced Hungary on the last Sunday that we left behind, in Debrecen and despite Scott Bamforth being one of the key basketball players of our representative and that could cause trouble to the Hungarian defense, this did not prevent the Embassy consular service of Hungary to Pristina to provide him with a visa. Bamforth, thanks to the consular service of the Embassy of Hungary in Pristina, was able to play in the match against Hungary on Sunday in Debrecen.
BFK strongly believes that cooperation with the Embassy of Hungary in Pristina will continue to be further deepened in every respect.
