Daut Mehmeti, Xhelal Mumini and Dardan Maxhuni are Kosovar referees who will now be FIBA referees. Mehmeti, Mumini and Maxhuni, three Kosovo Superliga referees and followers of many FIBA clinics and seminars, they won the FIBA titles as referees of FIBA at the camp for licensing new international referee’s, held in Zagreb .
FIBA licensing is the best confirmation of the work done by these three referees on referral techniques, knowledge of rules, physical preparation and knowledge of the English language, as well as confirmation of the work done by FBK on Judges in recent years.
Daut Mehmeti, Xhelal Mumini and Dardan Maxhuni became the first Kosovars to receive the FIBA license, following Mithat Belegut, who had been summoned by the international judge in 1978.
