Sigal Prishtina is very close to history in European competitions. In fact this is the most important duel in the 47-year history of the club.
The White and Blues are host to Belgium's Belfius Mons-Hainaut team on Tuesday, with eventual win they will go to the next phase of the FIBA Europe Cup.
The match belongs to the fourth phase of the FIBA Europe Cup group stage. Sigal Prishtina leads in Group G of the FIBA Europe Cup with 7 points accumulated (3 wins and 1 defeat), leaving behind Belfius Mons-Hainaut (Belgium), Demir Insaat (Turkey) and Khimik (Ukraine).
The first two of the group go on and with eventual victory over Belfiust, Sigal Prishtina would almost finish the job. It would be a great success for the white and blue- team squad.
In the two past participations in the FIBA Europe Cup, Sigal Prishtina has failed to go through the group stage, but now is in a convenient position to do so.
Sigal Prishtina also took part in the first qualifying round of Basketball Champions League, where it failed to qualify for further and thus continued the competition at FIBA Europe Cup.
The confrontation between Sigal Prishtina and Belfius Mons-Hainaut will take place on Tuesday at 19:00 at the Palace of Youth and Sports in Pristina.
