The Board of Kosovo Basketball Federation has decided to compete with 5 teams at FIBA Youth European Championships in 2020.
In men’s competition, Kosovo will compete with U18 and U20 generation at Division B, whereas with the generation U16 at Division C.
Regarding the women’s competition, Kosovo will compete with only two generations, U16 and U20, as it will soon begin with the implementation of the program for building the Women’s Senior Team, which will participate in FIBA Women's European Championship For Small Countries in 2022.
Worth mentioning is that KBF has applied at FIBA the day before for participation in the upcoming FIBA Basketball World Cup 2023 Pre-Qualifiers with the Men’s Senior Team, which will begin on February 2020.
The date of the draw will be announced very soon by FIBA, where Kosovo’s opponents will be known in all categories and both competitions.
