FIBA has announced the launch of a digital campaign designed to bring a positive message of hope in these challenging times.
Since mid-March, the global basketball community has been missing live sports action due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
In preparation for the return of basketball, FIBA is launching #FIrstBAsket, a digital campaign, with the aim of uniting the global basketball community and providing a positive message for the day basketball returns to action.
#FIrstBAsket will consist of a series of videos, photos, and mini-interviews with basketball and 3x3 basketball stars, coaches, fans, officials, and other actors of the game, which will build excitement for the return to action and pose the question – what will be your #FIrstBAsket?
The #FIrstBAsket campaign will be shared across all FIBA's social media channels and we encourage the whole basketball community - national federations, leagues, clubs, players, officials, fans - to contribute to this movement and this message of hope by posting and sharing their #FIrstBAsket moments.
