The Basketball Federation of Kosovo and Kosovo Basketball Coaches Association have begun preparations for the next edition.
KBF Board has recently formed a Working Group, which will focus on preparing two very important documents regarding the criteria for licensing coaches for the 2020/21 edition and the criteria for licensing basketball clubs/schools.
The Working Group is expected to submit the first drafts of these two documents to the KBF during May, after which those documents will be public for consultation, and are expected to be approved by the KBF Board at the very end as final documents.
Elvira Dushku - Secretary General of the BFK:
"The purpose of creating the working group is to prepare two very important documents for KBF, coaches association and all basketball community in our country. We are very interested in continuing to work and prepare as well as possible for the next edition.
In addition to these two documents, the Working Group will work as well on the KBF Strategic Plan 2021-2025, and we are working closely with FIBA Europe on the Mini-Basketball project in Kosovo.
At the same time, the training of coaches remains our priority and we are already working with the association in this regard and it is expected that this project will be intensified during the summer.”
