Kosovo U15 Representative have started the International U15 Tournament with the victory by defeating Romania with 69:47 score (17: 6, 19:17, 14:10, 19:14).
The U15 International Tournament began on Friday in Pristina and will end on Sunday, while Kosovo, Romania, Macedonia and Bulgaria are participating.
Our boys from the beginning to the end of the meeting were better than the Romanians and thus managed to score the first victory within the tournaments that were organized in the FIBA Europe's New Generation Development project.
This tournament is also the latest event within the FIBA Europe New Generation Development project, a project run by Turkey's Basketball Federation, and implemented by the four above mentioned states.
Within this project were organized national camps, international camps, trainers visits to Turkey, various tours, and now is the end of the project and its evasion by the managers of the four federations, and this will happen in Pristina on the day the last of the tournament. This meeting will be chaired by the project manager of the Turkish Basketball Federation, which will arrive on Saturday in Pristina.
Kosovo U15 is led by well-known basketball coach Ibrahim Karabeg, assisted by two coaches, Gyltekin Selimi and Lorik Kllokoqi.
In addition to the duel, Kosovo-Romania, the other match between Macedonia and Bulgaria was played, where Macedonian basketball players recorded 62:54.
Meanwhile on Saturday there are two other games, between Macedonia and Romania that will be played from 17:00 onwards and the other duel, Kosovo - Bulgaria, which will start from 19:30.
The International Tournament "Prishtina 2018" is being held at the GYM of "ISP" in the "Marigona Residence" neighborhood.
