Kosovo Basketball Representative is the winner of the "Heart of Kosovo" award that is shared by the Kosovo Manufacturers Club (KMC).
This award on behalf of the Basketball Federation of Kosovo (FBK) has been accepted by President of KBF Erolld Belegu on Monday evening in a "Made in Kosova" Gala Evening organized at the Emerald Hotel in Pristina by KMC in cooperation with USAID and others partners.
Kosovo's representative has been given this award after the historic success, when in this year’s summer has managed to secure a place among the 32 nationals for Qualifications for the China World Cup 2019.
In European pre-qualifiers, Kosovo competed in Group C together with Estonia and Macedonia, and after two victories as hosts, against two of its group opponents successfully succeeded and together with Estonia continued in the next round, European Qualifications for World Cup China 2019, which is rated among the greatest successes in team sports since the post-war in our country.
"Dardan Berisha, Erjon Kastrati, Ergin Grosha, Alban Veseli, Lis Shoshi, Urim Zenelaj, Scott Bamforth, Gezim Morina, Jaren Sina, Drilon Hajrizi, Granit Rugova, Fisnik Rugova, Muhamed Hasani, Art Hajdari, Leonard Mekaj, Samir Zekiqi are the players who together with Coaches, Brad Greenberg, Ernie Nestor, Andin Rashica and Ilir Selmani, have made us proud and today are the winners of this prize", said among others the number one of KBF, Erolld Belegu on the occasion of receiving the "Heart of Kosova" award.
In the Gala Evening "Made in Kosova" has gathered businesses, representatives of state institutions, representatives from international institutions, important figures from culture, sports and other relevant people that all these years have been working to promote Kosovo.
This evening, "Heart of Kosovo" prices have been awarded for the persons, enterprises and institutions that have promoted and will promote "Made in Kosova". The prize is traditional and is awarded annually by the Kosovo Manufacturers Club. Persons or institutions that accept this award will be ambassadors for 1 year of the "Made in Kosova" campaign.
This year, in the list of personalities and institutions that have been selected as the winner of this award is the Kosovo Basketball Representative, thanks to the dedication and hard work of all basketball players, coaches, Board and staff of KBF.
Kosovo's representative will be part of the campaign that will be implemented by December 2017, where a TV spot is presented and billboards will be placed throughout Kosovo.
With this video, the Kosovo Manufacturers Club wishes to convey the message that there are institutions and people working in Kosovo to promote the positive values of Kosovo both inside and outside Kosovo.
We believe that the participation of Kosovo's Representative in basketball in this campaign will positively contribute to the image of our country.
