The seedings for the FIBA Basketball World Cup 2023 European Pre-Qualifiers First Round have been announced for Tuesday's draw, with eight European national teams set to find out their opponents. (Kosovo, Albania, Belarus, Cyprus, Iceland, Luxembourg, Portugal and Slovakia)
As per competition regulations and handbook, the teams will be drawn into two (2) groups of four (4) teams each and play each other in Round Robin format, home and away.
The First Round of the European Pre-Qualifiers will be played across three windows on February 17-25, 2020, November 23 - December 1, 2020 and February 15-23, 2021 with two games played by each team in every window.
