Kosovo youth teams learned their opponents in the upcoming summer competitions.
It should be noted that the FIBA Europe Board has entrusted to KBF the organization of the FIBA U16 European Championship, Division C. This is the third time that a European championship will be organized in Pristina.
Kosovo U16 is part of group B together with Albania, Armenia, San Marino, Gibraltar, and Malta.
Kosovo U16 (M) selector Dritëro Sefaja has commented on the draw. “I see Albania as the main candidate for the title. Armenia is not an easy opponent either. However, there are good teams in the other group as well, such as Wales, Scotland, and Azerbaijan. Our goal is to advance to Division B. We are looking at players playing in the European leagues and in the Kosovar league as well. Competition is strong, but we will do our best to advance to Division B ”, said Sefaja for the official KBF website.
